Beckford’s Rum brand owner Lesley Astley and her son Lester were invited to Japan by the UK Department of Business & Trade to meet and network with Japanese drinks importers and distributors in Osaka and Tokyo.
The trip was a great success and we are delighted to be shipping our first consignment of Beckford’s Rum to Tokyo.
The lucky winners of our May and June draw for a case of delicious Maroon Rum Punch were Jacqueline Barlow from Coventry and Thomas Warkcup from Buckinghamshire.

Beckford’s Henry Barrel Aged Golden Rum was featured on Alan Titchmarsh’s popular ‘Love Your Weekend’ Show this weekend.
Henry, a delicious combination of Barbados & South American rums with a wonderfully smooth finish, was featured by Rum ambassador Ian Burrell, who was demonstrating the best of British rums for Mother’s Day.
The 40% ABV Henry golden rum was made into a ‘Mother’s Rum Sour’ cocktail for Mother’s Day and enjoyed by Alan, actors Phyllis Logan and Kevin McNally, and Eastenders actress Michelle Collins.
Tasting comments included ‘too nice!’ by Michelle Collins and “an absolute corker” by Alan! Why not give the recipe below a go!

We are delighted that our award-winning Beckford’s Rum is heading overseas to Canada, France and Germany, and will soon also be available on Princess Cruises, which takes 1.7 million guests a year to 300 destinations around the world.
Pallets of Beckford’s Pineapple Rum are currently on the high seas heading for Ontario for distribution across the state. The British Shop in Germany is importing our best-selling Caramel Rum, and pallets of rum are heading across the Channel to a mega distribution centre in Calais, for onward distribution across France.
Princess Cruises placed its first order for our Caramel and Banana rums. At 25% ABV for Caramel Rum, and 65% ABV for cask strength Banana Maroon Rum, they cover our full ABV range.
What could be better than sipping a Beckford’s banana rum cocktail on the deck of a Caribbean cruise ship!
