Beckford’s Rum was delighted to have a promotional stand at one of the world’s most famous historic motorsport events – the Goodwood Revival – a wonderful celebration of iconic cars and fashion.
Needless to say, Beckford’s Rum was hugely popular and hundreds of people of all ages, many in historic uniforms and classic car clothing, came to sample our delicious range of blended rums and whiskies.
As Beckford’s makes such a wonderful selection of flavours and strengths (from 25-65% ABV), which are loved even by people who don’t usually like rum, deciding which of the range to choose can be tricky. One solution is to buy them all and many left the stand with multiple bottles, both for themselves and to share with family and friends at Christmas, which should be very merry indeed!

Beckford’s is delighting rum fans across Europe, North America and Asia, as it expands international sales to Germany, Japan and Canada, with further interest from importers and distributors in Ukraine, USA and France.
Caramel Rum is now on sale in The British Shop in Germany and Japan placed its first order for the whole of the Beckford’s Rum range for sale in Ginza, Tokyo’s most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district.
In Canada, LCBO supermarkets and retailers are stocking Beckford’s Pineapple Rum and further orders are in the pipeline for the USA, France and Ukraine.
Beckford’s Rum attends hundreds of events across the UK every year, including the annual Royal International Air Tattoo, where our rum is always very popular with pilots, crews and visitors.
We were delighted to be visited by pilots from the Italian Air Force who were performing at the show, including an MB-339 jet display to mark the team’s 65th anniversary.

Beckford’s Rum brand owner Lesley Astley and her son Lester were invited to Japan by the UK Department of Business & Trade to meet and network with Japanese drinks importers and distributors in Osaka and Tokyo.
The trip was a great success and we are delighted to be shipping our first consignment of Beckford’s Rum to Tokyo.

Beckford’s Henry Barrel Aged Golden Rum was featured on Alan Titchmarsh’s popular ‘Love Your Weekend’ Show this weekend.
Henry, a delicious combination of Barbados & South American rums with a wonderfully smooth finish, was featured by Rum ambassador Ian Burrell, who was demonstrating the best of British rums for Mother’s Day.
The 40% ABV Henry golden rum was made into a ‘Mother’s Rum Sour’ cocktail for Mother’s Day and enjoyed by Alan, actors Phyllis Logan and Kevin McNally, and Eastenders actress Michelle Collins.
Tasting comments included ‘too nice!’ by Michelle Collins and “an absolute corker” by Alan! Why not give the recipe below a go!
30ml Henry’s Barrel Aged Golden Rum
15ml Lemon Juice
1 Egg White
15ml Sugar syrup
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Method: Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice until cold. Double strain into a champagne coupe glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon

We are delighted that our award-winning Beckford’s Rum is heading overseas to Canada, France and Germany, and will soon also be available on Princess Cruises, which takes 1.7 million guests a year to 300 destinations around the world.
Pallets of Beckford’s Pineapple Rum are currently on the high seas heading for Ontario for distribution across the state. The British Shop in Germany is importing our best-selling Caramel Rum, and pallets of rum are heading across the Channel to a mega distribution centre in Calais, for onward distribution across France.
Princess Cruises placed its first order for our Caramel and Banana rums. At 25% ABV for Caramel Rum, and 65% ABV for cask strength Banana Maroon Rum, they cover our full ABV range.
What could be better than sipping a Beckford’s banana rum cocktail on the deck of a Caribbean cruise ship!
