During our recent visit aboard the Sky Princess, we were thrilled to see Beckford’s Spirits making waves across all bars!

Beckford’s Caramel Rum and our 65% overproof Banana Maroon proved to be top choices, while the Banana Colada cocktail was a hit among guests. See our Cocktails page for the ingredients.

Many of the cruise guests were enjoying our smooth and super-popular Caramel Rum served neat — a definite crowd-pleaser!

Speedy sales of Beckford’s Rum at the Goodwood Revival

Beckford’s Rum was delighted to have a promotional stand at one of the world’s most famous historic motorsport events – the Goodwood Revival – a wonderful celebration of iconic cars and fashion.

Needless to say, Beckford’s Rum was hugely popular and hundreds of people of all ages, many in historic uniforms and classic car clothing, came to sample our delicious range of blended rums and whiskies.

As Beckford’s makes such a wonderful selection of flavours and strengths (from 25-65% ABV), which are loved even by people who don’t usually like rum, deciding which of the range to choose can be tricky. One solution is to buy them all and many left the stand with multiple bottles, both for themselves and to share with family and friends at Christmas, which should be very merry indeed!

Royal Air Tattoo Pilots Choose Beckfords

Beckford’s Rum attends hundreds of events across the UK every year, including the annual Royal International Air Tattoo, where our rum is always very popular with pilots, crews and visitors.

We were delighted to be visited by pilots from the Italian Air Force who were performing at the show, including an MB-339 jet display to mark the team’s 65th anniversary.

Beckford’s 65% cask strength Maroon Rum proved so popular that the team came back three times to buy more.. Saluti a tutti!

Beckford’s Rum in Japan

Beckford’s Rum brand owner Lesley Astley and her son Lester were invited to Japan by the UK Department of Business & Trade to meet and network with Japanese drinks importers and distributors in Osaka and Tokyo.

The trip was a great success and we are delighted to be shipping our first consignment of Beckford’s Rum to Tokyo.

Beckford’s Rum exporting to Canada, France and Germany

We are delighted that our award-winning Beckford’s Rum is heading overseas to Canada, France and Germany, and will soon also be available on Princess Cruises, which takes 1.7 million guests a year to 300 destinations around the world.

Pallets of Beckford’s Pineapple Rum are currently on the high seas heading for Ontario for distribution across the state. The British Shop in Germany is importing our best-selling Caramel Rum, and pallets of rum are heading across the Channel to a mega distribution centre in Calais, for onward distribution across France.

Princess Cruises placed its first order for our Caramel and Banana rums. At 25% ABV for Caramel Rum, and 65% ABV for cask strength Banana Maroon Rum, they cover our full ABV range.

What could be better than sipping a Beckford’s banana rum cocktail on the deck of a Caribbean cruise ship!

If you’d like to recreate the Caribbean vibe at home, our popular range of Maroon cask strength rums make fabulous cocktails. Just pour into a large glass with ice, put on the reggae music, shut your eyes and you’re there! Cheers..

Mother’s Day Rum Winner!

Congratulations to Sarah Tunstall from Glossop in Derbyshire for winning our Mother’s Day competition and a bottle of Beckford’s Caramel Rum!
